Composition:

Motherwort grass.

Description:

Pieces of stems, peduncles, leaves and inflorescence of the motherwort, passing through a sieve with holes 2 mm in diameter.Color from greyish-green to brownish-green with numerous whitish, yellowish-white, greyish-white, pinkish-violet, grayish-pink impregnations.

The smell is weak. The taste of water extract is bitterish.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    The motherwort herb contains essential oils, tannins, saponins, iridoids, flavonoids (rutin, quercitrin, hyperoside, etc.), ascorbic acid, carotene, macro- and microelements and other biologically active substances.

    Herb infusion of motherwort has a pronounced sedative effect, has hypotensive properties, slows down the rhythm and increases the strength of heartbeats.

    Indications:

    Increased nervous excitability, sleep disturbance, neurasthenia, neurocirculatory dystonia.

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, children under 12 years.
    Dosing and Administration:

    2 filter bags are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover with a lid and insist 15 minutes, filter bags are squeezed,the volume of the obtained infusion is brought to 100 ml with boiled water.

    Take inside 1/2 glass 2-3 times a day for an hour before meals.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    Interaction:

    Compatible with other sedatives; enhances the effect of hypnotics and other medications that depress the central nervous system.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:With prolonged use in large doses, it is possible to reduce psychomotor reactions, which should be taken into account when driving vehicles, working with mechanisms, etc.

    By 1.3 g (at a humidity of 13%) in the filter bags, followed by stacking 10 or 20 filter bags and instructions for use in packs of cardboard

    Storage conditions:

    In a dry place protected from light.

    Ready to keep the infusion in a dark, cool place for no more than 2 days.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    3 years.
