Description:

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Combined drug.

    Paracetamol it alters antipyretic and analgesic effect: reduces pain syndrome, observed in "cold" diseases, sore throat, headache, muscle and joint pain, reduces heat.

    Phenylephrine has a vasoconstrictive effect that reduces edema and hyperemia of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract and accessory sinuses.

    Pheniramine has anti-allergic effect: eliminates pruritus eyes, nose and throat, swelling and flushing of the mucous membranes of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx and paranasal sinuses, reduces exudative manifestations.

    Caffeine has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system, which leads to a reduction in fatigue and drowsiness, to an increase in mental and physical performance.

    Indications:Symptomatic treatment of "cold" diseases, influenza.About RVI (fever and pain syndrome, rhinorrhea).
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to paracetamol and other components that make up the drug; reception of other medicines containing substances that make up the drug: simultaneous reception of tricyclic antidepressants, beta-blockers, MAO inhibitors, incl. in the period up to 14 days after cancellation; pregnancy, lactation; children's age (up to 15 years).
    Carefully:pronounced arteriosclerosis of the coronary arteries, arterial hypertension, thyrotoxicosis, pheochromocytoma, diabetes mellitus and hereditary violations of suction of sugar, bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, congenital hyperbilirubinemia, (Gilbert syndrome, Dubin-Johnson and Rotor syndrome) and / or renal failure, angle-closure glaucoma, prostatic hyperplasia.
    Dosing and Administration:
    Add 1 sachet (sachet) to a glass, pour hot water, mix until completely dissolved and drink (sugar or honey can be added if desired).Take the drug with a lot of fluid, 1 to 2 hours after eating. Adults and children over 15 years of age; Take one packet 3-4 times a day with intervals between doses 4-6 hours. The maximum daily dose is 4 sachets.

    The drug is not recommended for more than five days as an anesthetic and for more than three days as an antipyretic without prescription and supervision by a physician.

    An increase in the daily dose of the drug or the duration of treatment is possible only under the supervision of a physician. Do not exceed the indicated dose. In case of an overdose, immediately consult a doctor even if you are feeling well.
    Side effects:
    Allergic reactions: skin rash. itching. urticaria, angioedema.

    From the nervous system: dizziness, falling asleep, increased excitability.

    From the cardiovascular system: increased blood pressure, tachycardia.

    On the part of the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, pain in the epigastric region, dry mouth, hepatotoxic effect.

    From the sense organs: mydriasis, paresis of accommodation, increased intraocular pressure.

    On the part of the organs of hematopoiesis: thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis.

    Other: bronchospasm, urinary retention.
    Overdose:
    It is caused, as a rule, by paracetamol and manifested after taking more than 10-15 g of paracetamol.

    Symptoms: pallor of the skin, anorexia, nausea, vomiting; increased activity of "hepatic" transamipases, an increase in prothrombin time. In cases of overdose, it is necessary to urgently consult a doctor.

    Treatment: gastric lavage followed by the administration of activated charcoal: symptomatic therapy, methionine administration 8-9 h after an overdose and N-acetylcysteine ​​after 12 h.
    Interaction:
    Strengthens the effects of MAO inhibitors, sedatives, ethanol. Antidepressants, antiparkinsonics, antipsychotics, phenothiazine derivatives - increase the risk of urinary retention, dry mouth, constipation.

    Glucocorticosteroids increase the risk of developing glaucoma. Paracetamol reduces the effectiveness of uricosuric drugs. Chlorpheniramine simultaneously with MAO inhibitors, furazolidone can lead to hypertensive crisis, agitation, hyperpyrexia.The simultaneous administration of halothane increases the risk of ventricular arrhythmia. Phenylephrine reduces the hypotensive effect of guanethidine. Guanethidine increases alpha-adrenostimulating, and tricyclic antidepressants sympathomimetic effect of phenylephrine.

    With concomitant administration of the drug with barbiturates, diphenin, carbamazepine, rifampicin and other inducers of microsomal liver enzymes, the risk of hepatotoxic action of paracetamol increases.
    Special instructions:Before taking the drug, a doctor's consultation is necessary in case of: taking metoclopramide, domperidone, colestyramine, anticoagulants (warfarin). During treatment should refrain from taking alcohol, sleeping pills and anxiolytic (tranquilizers) medicines. Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol. Care should be taken when performing work that requires concentration of attention, increased speed of motor and mental reactions. If the symptoms do not go away within 30 days, consult a doctor.
