Composition:

Characteristic

Chamomile flowers contain essential oil (not less than 0.3%), flavonoids, coumarins,organic acids, ascorbic acid, carotene, gums, polysaccharides, bitterness, polyacetylenes, macro- and microelements and other biologically active substances.

Description:

Uneven mixture of flower baskets and their parts, passing through a sieve with holes of 5 mm. The color is greenish-yellow with white, greyish-green and yellowish-brown impregnations. The scent is fragrant. The taste of water extract is spicy, bitter, slightly slimy.

  • Pharmacodynamics:

    Infusion of chamomile flowers has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, spasmolytic and mild analgesic effect, reduces fermentation in the intestines, increases the secretion of digestive glands.

    Indications:

    Inside - in the complex therapy for chronic gastritis, chronic enteritis, chronic colitis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, flatulence, intestinal spasms, diarrhea.

    Locally - for rinses with infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis).

    Rectally, in the form of microclystia is used for spastic colitis, hemorrhoids.
    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug and other plants of the family Astrologic (Complex).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Application during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is possible if the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. Consultation of the doctor is necessary.

    Dosing and Administration:

    About 9 g (2 tablespoons) of chamomile flowers are placed in enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Accepted inwards in a warm form 2-3 times a day before meals:

    adults and children over 12 years - 2-3 tablespoons, children from 7 to 12 years old - 1-2 tablespoons, children from 3 to 7 years - 1 tablespoon, children under 3 years - 1 teaspoonful.

    Locally, to rinse the mouth and throat - 1 / 2-1 glass of warm infusion 3-5 times a day.

    Rectal, in the form of microclysters - 50 ml of warm infusion 1-2 times a day.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor individually, taking into account the characteristics of the disease, the effect achieved and the tolerability of the drug.

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose have not been registered to date.
