Chamomile flowers contain essential oil (not less than 0.3%), flavonoids, coumarins,organic acids, ascorbic acid, carotene, gums, polysaccharides, bitterness, polyacetylenes, macro- and microelements and other biologically active substances.
Description:

A mixture of chamomile flowers of various forms, yellowish green with white impregnations, passing through a sieve with holes of 2 mm. The smell is weak, fragrant. The taste of water extract is spicy, bitter, with a sensation of mucous.

  • Pharmacodynamics:

    Infusion of chamomile flowers has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, spasmolytic and mild analgesic effect, reduces fermentation in the intestines, increases the secretion of digestive glands.

    Indications:

    Inside as part of complex therapy for chronic gastritis, chronic enteritis, chronic colitis, peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum, flatulence, intestinal spasms, diarrhea.

    Locally - for rinses with infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis).

    Rectally, in the form of microclystia is used for spastic colitis, hemorrhoids.

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the drug.
    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Application during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is possible if the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. Consultation of the doctor is necessary.

    Dosing and Administration:

    2 filter packets (3 g) are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover with a lid and insist for 15 minutes. Filter packets are pressed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 100 ml with boiled water.

    Accepted inwards in a warm form 2-3 times a day before meals: adults and children over 12 years - 2-3 tablespoons, children from 7 to 12 years - 1-2 tablespoons, children from 3 to 7 years - 1 tablespoon, children under 3 years - 1 teaspoon.

    Locally, to rinse the mouth and throat - 1 / 2-1 glass of warm infusion 3-5 times a day.

    Rectally, in the form of microclystia - 50 ml of warm infusion 1-2 times a day.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:Allergic reactions are possible.
    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose have not been registered to date.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    The use of the drug does not affect the ability to perform potentially dangerous activities requiring increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (driving and other vehicles, working with moving mechanisms, dispatcher and operator work).

    For 1.5 g (at a humidity of 14%) in the filter bags.
