    • Pharmacodynamics:

    SEPTILIN® PLUS has an anti-inflammatory effect.The active plant active ingredients (bioflavonoids and tannins) included in the preparation contribute to reducing the manifestations of the inflammatory process, reducing permeability of capillaries, show antiexudative action. The presence of polysaccharides in the preparation contributes to the stimulation of phagocytosis, by increasing the phagocytic activity of granulocytes and macrophages, and accelerating the chemotaxis of polymorphonuclear leukocytes in the focus of infection. The drug SEPTILIN® PLUS enhances the humoral immune response, contributes to the increase of nonspecific resistance of the organism. The use of the drug contributes to the reduction of clinical signs of acute inflammation of the upper respiratory tract. The drug has an anti-inflammatory effect at the same time on the mucous membrane of the nasopharynx, pharynx and palatine tonsils.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Data on the pharmacokinetics of a multicomponent herbal preparation SEPTILIN® PLUS in the dosage form of the tablet is absent. The activity of the drug is due to the mutually reinforcing combined effect of its components, which is typical for herbal medicines.Since the activity of the drug can not be fully attributed to any single compound, pharmacokinetic studies of multicomponent plant preparations, including SEPTILIN® PLUS, are not feasible.

    Indications:

    Rinosinusit (acute, exacerbation of chronic).

    Exacerbation of chronic tonsillopharyngitis.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to individual components of the drug.

    Age to 18 years.

    Carefully:In patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated.

    If it is necessary to use during breastfeeding, it is recommended to stop breastfeeding.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside.

    2 tablets 2 times a day for 10-14 days.

    In case of incomplete relief of the symptoms of the disease, treatment can be continued up to 4 weeks in a dose of 1 tablet 2 times a day or at the doctor's discretion.

    In case of appearance of undesirable phenomena from the gastrointestinal tract, the dose of the drug can be reduced to 1 tablet 2 times a day. In case the dose reduction does not lead to relief of symptoms, it is recommended to cancel the drug.

    Side effects:

    Possible allergic reactions, a feeling of dry mouth, dyspeptic phenomena (nausea, diarrhea, flatulence), abdominal pain, transient increase in the activity of "liver" transaminases.

    Overdose:

    Data on overdose are absent.

    In case of an overdose, symptomatic treatment is used.

    Interaction:

    The use of the drug does not exclude the possibility of using other medicines, including antibacterial drugs.

    Special instructions:
