Pharmacodynamics:Means of plant origin, antiseptic, virosostatic, fungistatic, tanning, astringent and local anti-inflammatory effect. It is active against gram-positive microflora.

Indications:Inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity (including catarrhal and ulcerative-necrotic gingivitis, stomatitis, inflammatory periodontal diseases).

Carefully:Lactation period. Efficacy and safety of use in children have not been studied.
The drug in the form of tinctures contains ethanol.
Pregnancy and lactation:Category by FDA is not defined. Not recommended for use in pregnancy.
Use with caution in the period of breastfeeding, since sage can suppress lactation.
Dosing and Administration:Outer in the form of 0.1-0.25% alcohol solution, prepared from 1% solution by dilution in 4-10 times with distilled water or 0.9% sodium chloride solution. Apply in the form of lubrication, irrigation, applications, for wetting turundas, inserted into the gingival pockets (for 10 minutes). The course of treatment - 2-10 sessions at intervals of 1-2 days.
Side effects:When using concentrations higher than those indicated in the instructions or with an increased individual sensitivity of the patient to the drug, unpleasant sensations in the mouth are possible - a feeling of bitterness, dryness, burning, and irritation, expressed as a slight and rapidly transient hyperemia.
Overdose:Overdose is not described. Treatment is symptomatic, drug cancellation.
Interaction:Not described.
Special instructions:With prolonged use of an alcohol solution, epileptic reactions are possible.
