Characteristic

sage leaves contain essential oils, tannins, resins, flavonoids, organic acids, vitamin F, volatile and other biologically active substances.

Description:

The mixture leaf pieces with few pieces of stems, flowers with pedicels green, gray-green, green or silver-silver gray and whitish with brownish splashes pass through a sieve size of 7 mm. The scent is fragrant. The taste of the water extract is slightly bitter-spicy, slightly astringent.

  • Pharmacodynamics:

    The infusion of sage leaves astringent, topical anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action.

    Indications:

    Inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity (stomatitis, gingivitis); pharynx and larynx (angina, pharyngitis).

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the drug, age 12 years.
    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Carefully.

    Dosing and Administration:

    5 g (1 tablespoon) leaves are placed in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, capped, and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 min, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials squeeze; the resulting infusion is brought to boiling water to 200 ml.

    Apply topically to rinse in adults and children over 12 years of age 1 / 2-1 glass of infusion 3-5 times a day in a warm form.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
