Characteristic
Sage leaves contain essential oils, flavonoids, tannins, triterpenoids (ursolic, oleanolic acids), phenol carboxylic acids, vitamins, macro- and microelements and other biologically active substances.
Description:

Pieces of leaves of various shapes and whole leaves with a small number of other parts of the plant (pieces of stems, flowers with pedicels and without them). The color of the leaves is green, grayish green or silvery white. The scent is fragrant. The taste of the water extract is bitterish-spicy, slightly astringent.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Infusion of sage leaves has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and astringent action.

    Indications:

    Inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity (stomatitis, gingivitis), pharynx and larynx (sore throat, pharyngitis).

    Contraindications:Individual intolerance.
    Carefully:Pregnancy, lactation.
    Dosing and Administration:

    About 10 g (3 tablespoons) of raw materials are placed in enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of boiling water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes,cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw material was squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Used for rinses on 1/2-1 glass is infused 3-5 times a day in a warm form.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
