Description:

  • Pharmacodynamics:

    Stimulates the processes of regeneration of the skin and mucous membranes. Pharmacological action of rosehip oil is due to the presence in it of unsaturated fatty acids (linolenic and linoleic), vitamin E and carotenoids.

    Indications:

    Rosehip oil is applied externally with shallow cracks and abrasions of nipples in nursing women, bedsores, trophic ulcers of the shins, dermatoses, ozene, with ulcerative colitis (in complex therapy).

    With dermatoses, along with the external application of rosehip oil is used inside.

    Contraindications:

    Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.

    When administered orally: pregnancy, children under 12 years.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    There is no information on the penetration into breast milk.

    Adverse effects during external application to the fetus during pregnancy and breastfeeding have not been identified.

    Do not use orally during pregnancy.

    Dosing and Administration:

    In the treatment of cracks and abrasions of the nipples of the mammary glands in nursing women, gauze napkins, soaked in rosehip oil, are applied to the nipples for 20-30 minutes after each feeding of the baby for 4-5 days. Before feeding the baby, it is necessary to wash the oil from the nipples of the mammary glands.

    When treating decubitus and trophic ulcers of the legs and feet on the center of the lesion impose gauze, soaked in rosehip oil, then cover with waxed paper and fix the bandage with a bandage. Change of dressing is carried out once a day or 1 time in 2 days on the recommendation of a doctor. The course of treatment is 15-20 days.

    In the treatment of dermatoses 2-3 times a day, a gauze napkin soaked in rosehip oil, under an occlusive dressing, is applied to the affected skin areas. In addition, the drug is taken orally in adults and children over 12 years of 1 teaspoon 2 times a day. The course of treatment is 1-2 months.

    With complex therapy of ulcerative colitis Rose hips are injected into the rectum with enemas 50 ml daily or every other day. The course of treatment is 15-30 procedures.
