Composition:

Serum horsepower purified diluted 1: 100 solution for intradermal administration is an immunoglobulin fraction of serum of horses hyperimmunized tetanus, diphtheria, gangrenous or botulinum (type A, B, E) toxoid or toxin, purified by one of methods digestion or salt fractionation and diluted 1: 100 with sodium chloride solution of 0.9%.

    Indications:

    Determination of human sensitivity to horse serum proteins.

    Contraindications:The development of anaphylactic shock on the previous administration of drugs from the horse's serum.
    Pregnancy and lactation:The use of the drug is allowed according to vital signs, taking into account the possible benefits for the mother and the risk to the fetus or the child.
    Dosing and Administration:Serum horse purified diluted 1: 100 is injected in a volume of 0.1 ml intradermally into the flexor surface of the forearm.The reaction is taken into account after 20 minutes. The sample is considered negative if the edema and / or redness is absent or their diameter is less than 1 cm. The sample is considered positive if the edema and / or redness is 1 cm or more in diameter. Depending on the nature of the reaction, the prescribed antitoxic serum is administered in accordance with the instructions for use of the latter.

    Precautions for use.

    The drug is not suitable for use in ampoules with broken integrity, lack of marking, with changing physical properties (discoloration, presence not crashing flakes), with expired shelf life, improper storage.

    Opening of ampoules and procedure of setting of samples are carried out with strict observance of the rules of aseptic and antiseptic. The drug in the opened ampoule is not subject to storage.

    Given the possibility of anaphylactic shock, it is necessary to provide medical supervision of the people who have received samples, within 30 minutes after the administration of the drug. The locations for sampling should be equipped with anti-shock therapy.
    Side effects:In sensitive individuals, the use of the drug may be accompanied by allergic reactions.
