    Description:

    The buds (truncated apical shoots) are single or several in whorls surrounding a larger central bud, without a stem or with a stem remainder, no more than 3 mm long. The surface of the kidneys is covered with dry, spirally located lanceolate, pointed fimbriated scales glued together by a protruding resin.     Pharmacodynamics:

    Decoction of the kidneys of pine has an expectorant, antimicrobial effect.

    Indications:

    Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (laryngitis, tracheitis, chronic bronchitis), bronchopneumonia (as part of complex therapy).

    Contraindications:

    Increased individual sensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, lactation, children up to 12 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    About 10 grams (1 tablespoon) of kidneys are placed in enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of cooled boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 30 minutes, cool at room temperature for 10 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the resulting broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water. Take inside after eating 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day. It is recommended to stir up the broth before use.
