Composition:

For 1 tablet:

active substances: thermopsis of lanceolate grass powder 0.0067 g, sodium hydrogen carbonate 0.25 g;

Excipients: talc 0.004 g, calcium stearate 0.0023 g, potato starch 0.027 g

Description:

Round tablets from greenish-gray to yellow-brown color, flat-cylindrical shape, with a facet and a risk. Presence of dark inclusions is allowed.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    The herb of thermopsis has an expectorant effect, having a moderate irritant effect on the receptors of the gastric mucosa, reflexively increases the secretion of the bronchial glands.

    The thermocapsa alkaloids contained in the grasscytisine, methylcytisine, pachycarpine, anagyrine, thermopsin and thermopsidin) exert a stimulating effect on the respiratory and, in high doses, on the vomiting centers.

    Sodium bicarbonate stimulates the secretion of bronchial glands, helps to reduce the viscosity of phlegm.

    Indications:

    As part of a comprehensive therapy of respiratory diseases, accompanied by a cough with hard-to-recover sputum (bronchitis, tracheitis).

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum (in the phase of exacerbation), children under 12 years.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated in connection with the lack of data on the safety of the drug in this category of patients.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside.

    Adults appoint 1 tablet 3 times a day for 3-5 days. Higher doses for adults inside (in terms of thermopsis): single dose - 0.1 g, daily - 0.3 g.

    Children over 12 years of age: 1 / 2-1 tablet 3 times a day for 3-5 days. Repeated treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible; nausea.

    Overdose:

    Symptoms: nausea, vomiting.

    Treatment: symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    Adsorbents, astringents and enveloping agents can reduce the absorption of alkaloids that make up the herb of thermopsis in the gastrointestinal tract.

    Cough tablets should not be used concomitantly with drugs containing codeine and other antitussive medicines, as this makes it difficult to cough up phlegm.

    Special instructions:

    To improve liquefaction and separation of sputum, it is recommended to administer a generous warm drink.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:The drug does not affect the ability to perform hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor (vehicle management, work with moving mechanisms).
