Description:

Tablets of light yellow color with possible impregnations of more dark or light shades, flat, oblong, with a facet along the edges and with a "T" on both sides.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Combination drug for topical application in gynecology. Has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antiprotozoal, antifungal action; ensures the integrity of the mucous membrane of the vagina and the constancy of the pH.

    Ternidazole - antifungal agent from the group of imidazole derivatives, reduces the synthesis of ergosterol (an integral part of the cell membrane), changes the structure and properties of the cell membrane.Has a trichomonocidal effect, is also active against anaerobic bacteria, in particular, gardnerella.

    Neomycin - a broad-spectrum antibiotic from the aminoglycoside group. It is bactericidal against gram-positive (Staphylococcus, Streptococcus pneumoniae) and gram-negative (Escherichia coli, Shigella dysenteriae, Shigella flexneri, Shigella boydii, Shigella sonnei, Proteus spp.) microorganisms; in a relationship Streptococcus spp., is inactive.

    The stability of microorganisms develops slowly and to a small extent.

    Nystatin - Antifungal antibiotic from the group of polyenes, highly effective inyeastbfungi of the genus Candida, changet nknapsacksaemostoof the membranes and slows their growth.

    Prednisolone - dehydrogenated analog of hydrocortisone, has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-exsudative action.

    Indications:

    Treatment of vaginitis caused by microorganisms sensitive to the drug, including:

    - bacterial vaginitis;

    - trichomoniasis of the vagina;

    - vaginitis caused by fungi of the genus Candida;

    - mixed vaginitis.

    Prevention of urogenital infections / vaginitis, including:

    - before gynecological operations;

    - before childbirth and abortion;

    - before and after installation of intrauterine devices;

    - before and after diathermocoagulation of the cervix;

    - before hysterography.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    It is possible to use the drug from the second trimester of pregnancy. The use of the drug in the first trimester of pregnancy and during lactation is possible only in cases where the potential benefit to the mother exceeds the risk for the fetus or baby.

    Dosing and Administration:

    For vaginal application.

    One tablet is injected deep into the vagina in the "lying" position before going to sleep. Before entering the vagina, the tablet should be held in water for 20-30 seconds. After the introduction, lie down for 10-15 minutes.

    The average duration of the therapeutic course of therapy is 10 days; in the case of confirmed mycosis may be increased to 20 days; the average duration of the preventive course is 6 days.

    Side effects:

    A burning sensation, itching and irritation in the vagina (especially at the beginning of the treatment).

    In some cases, allergic reactions are possible.

    Overdose:

    In the case of treatment of vaginitis, trichomoniasis, simultaneous treatment of sexual partners is recommended.

    Do not stop treatment during menstruation.
