Angioprotectors and microcirculation correctors

Included in the formulation
  • Escuzan®
    solution inwards
  • АТХ:

C.05.C.X   Other drugs that reduce the permeability of capillaries

    Pharmacodynamics:

Combined angioprotector and microcirculatory regulator reduces edema, a feeling of heaviness, itching, tension, pain.

    Thiamine

Coenzyme of enzymes that regulate protein and carbohydrate metabolism. Has a moderate ganglion-blocking effect, promotes the conduction of nerve impulses in synapses. Protects cell membranes from the toxic effects of peroxidation products.

    Eszin

Extract from horse chestnut seeds has venotonic and antiexudative action. Reduces the concentration of lysosomal enzymes, preventing the decomposition of mucopolysaccharides in the walls of capillaries. Reducing vascular permeability prevents the filtration of micromolecular proteins, water and electrolytes into the interstitial tissue.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Thiamine

After oral administration, the fasting is almost completely absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. It is distributed in all tissues: more than half of the total amount of the drug is contained in the striated muscle, about 40% - in the internal organs.

Metabolism in the liver by phosphorylation with the formation of thiamin diphosphate (cocarboxylase), which has a pharmacological effect.

Elimination by the kidneys and with feces.

    Eszin

After oral administration, up to 0% is absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. The maximum concentration in the blood plasma is reached after 2 hours. The connection with plasma proteins is 84%.

Therapeutic effect develops after the reception. Metabolism in the liver.

The half-life is 19 hours. Elimination by the kidneys.

    Indications:

It is used for chronic venous insufficiency, manifested by blood flow disorders: seizures and edema of the calf muscles, a feeling of heaviness in the legs, varicose veins, hemorrhoids.

    IX.I80-I89.I83   Varicose veins

    IX.I80-I89.I84   Hemorrhoids

    IX.I80-I89.I87.0   Postphlebitic syndrome

    IX.I80-I89.I87.2   Venous insufficiency (chronic) (peripheral)

    Contraindications:

    Individual intolerance.

    Carefully:

Individual sensitivity to the components of the drug and ethanol.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

Recommendations for FDA - Category C. Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.

The highest daily dose: 45 drops.

The highest single dose: 15 drops.

    Side effects:

Possible irritation of the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract, manifested dyspeptic disorders.

    Allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

Cases of overdose are not described.

    Treatment is symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    Enhances the effect of anticoagulants.

Impaired absorption of thiamine while using with bleomycin, vinblastine, fluorouracil, cisplastin.

The excretion of thiamine with simultaneous use with isoniazid and penicillamine is increased.

Sulfite-containing infusion solutions reduce the effects of thiamine.
