Description:

Transparent or slightly turbid liquid, yellowish brown with a characteristic smell of chamomile. A slight deposit may be deposited during storage.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Pharmacological properties are caused by biologically active substances that make up the drug. Tonzylgon® H has an anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect. The active components of chamomile, althaea and horsetail included in the preparation contribute to an increase in the activity of nonspecific factors of body defense. Polysaccharides, essential oils and flavonoids of chamomile, althea and yarrow, tannins of the oak bark have an anti-inflammatory effect and contribute to a decrease in the edema of the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract.

    Indications:

    Acute and chronic diseases of the upper respiratory tract (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis).

    Prevention of complications in respiratory viral infections and as an addition to antibiotic therapy for bacterial infections.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, in particular, to the plants of the family of Compositae, alcoholism (including after antialcohol treatment), children's age (up to 1 year) - in connection with the content of ethyl alcohol in the preparation.

    Carefully:Liver diseases, craniocerebral trauma, brain diseases, children age over 1 year (application is possible only after consulting a doctor) - in connection with the content of ethyl alcohol in the drug.
    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The use of the drug is possible if the potential benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. Consultation of the doctor is necessary.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside. Drops for ingestion are taken undiluted, while holding in the mouth for a while before swallowing.

    In the acute period of the disease:

    Adults: 25 drops 5-6 times a day.

    Children of school age (over 6 years): 15 drops 5-6 times a day.

    Children of preschool age (over 1 year): 10 drops 5-6 times a day.

    After the disappearance of acute symptoms of the disease (sore throat) should continue treatment with the drug for another 1 week.

    After the disappearance acute symptoms:

    Adults: 25 drops 3 times a day.

    Children of school age (over 6 years): 15 drops 3 times a day.

    Children of preschool age (over 1 year): 10 drops 3 times a day.

    Side effects:

    From the gastrointestinal tract are possible: nausea, vomiting.

    Allergic reactions are possible. If signs of an allergic reaction appear, stop taking the drug.

    Overdose:

    To date, cases of overdose have not been reported. In case of an overdose, there may be an increase in side effects from the gastrointestinal tract.

    Treatment: symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    Combination with antibacterial drugs is possible and expedient.

    Interaction with other drugs is not described.

    Special instructions:

    The content in the preparation of ethyl alcohol is from 16.0 to 19.5% (in volume ratio).In the maximum single dose (25 drops), the absolute ethyl alcohol content is 0.21 g; in the maximum daily dose (25 drops 6 times a day) - 1.26 g.

    If the symptoms persist for 7 days or the patient's condition worsens, consult a doctor.

    During the storage of the drug, slight turbidity or loss of a slight sediment is possible, which does not affect the effectiveness of the preparation.

    Before use, the preparation should be shaken!

    When using the bottle, keep it in a vertical position.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    During the period of application of the drug, care should be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (in connection with the content of ethyl alcohol drug).

    Packaging:

    In a bottle of dark glass with a volume of 50 or 100 ml with a metering drip device from above, with a screw cap and a safety ring.

    Each bottle along with the instruction is placed in a folding cardboard box.

    Storage conditions:

    Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:
