Beta-alanine is an amino acid. Counteracts the rapid release of histamine, but does not possess antihistamine activity due to the absence of blockade H1receptors.
Beta-alanine has a direct effect on cutaneous peripheral vasodilation, which causes vegetative "hot flashes", a sense of heat, heat, headache. At the physiological level, the vasomotor "hot flashes" are caused by the activity of the thermoregulatory centers in the hypothalamus, leading to peripheral cutaneous vasodilation. This is a consequence of reactions that occur when the balance of cerebral neurotransmitters occurs after the hormone secretion ceases ovaries. The drug promotes saturation of peripheral receptors neurotransmitters who are involved in this process.
