Pharmacodynamics:

The vaccine is prepared from purified diphtheria and tetanus anatoxins, formalin-inactivated and adsorbed on aluminum hydroxide.

Provides immunostimulating act. Forms specific immunity against diphtheria and tetanus toxins.

Immunity against diphtheria and tetanus is strengthened a few days after the revaccination and lasts at least 5 years.

Vaccination and revaccination for the prevention of diphtheria and tetanus in adolescents and adults.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the constituent components of the vaccine, acute infectious diseases, a pronounced reaction to the previous administration of the vaccine.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Contraindications to use in pregnant and lactating women.

Dosing and Administration:

Subcutaneously or intramuscularly.

Vaccination consists of 3 injections of 0.5 ml at intervals of 1 month, revaccination (0.5 ml) after 1 year, then every 5-10 years.

Before use, the vial is shaken thoroughly until a homogeneous suspension is obtained.

Side effects:

Local reactions (soreness (rarely), tightness and redness at the injection site). General reactions (slight increase in body temperature within 24-48 h after injection).
