    Pharmacodynamics:

    The vaccine against polioviruses 1, 2 and 3 types. Obtained from polioviruses of three types, cultivated on the BERO cell line and inactivated with formalin.

    This vaccine causes the production of a significant number of neutralizing antibodies to polioviruses,starting with the second injection, regardless of the general condition of the vaccinated persons (immunodeficiency, bowel disease, dystrophy). Immunity to poliomyelitis viruses is acquired after the 3rd injection of the vaccine, is strengthened with subsequent injections and persists for at least 5 years after the first revaccination.

    After the introduction of three doses of this vaccine seroconversion is observed in 95-100% of individuals.

    Dosing and Administration:

    The vaccine is administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly. Primary vaccination is carried out by 3 consecutive injections of this vaccine at intervals of 1 month. For one administration - 1 dose of vaccine. Revaccination is carried out 1 year after completion of the course of primary vaccination, then every 5-10 years.
