    Pharmacodynamics:

    Antibiotic from the group of aminoglycosides. CComes from 30S-subunit of the ribosomes of the bacterial cell and disrupts the movement of the ribosome along the filaments PHK. Also changes the process of reading the code PHK, which leads to the synthesis of functionally inactive proteins. Is able to disrupt the permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane of microorganisms. Has a bactericidal type of action against Neisseriagonorrhoeae, incl. strains producing penicillinase.

    It is active against Gram-positive bacteria Actinomyces spp., Bacillus antracis, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Clostridium spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Listeria monocytogenes, Neisseria meningitidis; and gram-negative microorganisms: Borrelia spp., Bordetella pertussis, Treponema pallidum, Escherichia coli, Enterobacter aerogenes, Shigella spp., Salmonella spp., Haemophilus influenzae, Proteus spp., Pasteurella multocida, Vibrio cholerae, Fusobacterium spp., Klebsiella pneumoniae, Leptospira spp .

    It is active against Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    After intramuscular injection absorbed quickly and completely. The maximum concentration in blood plasma is achieved after 1-2 hours. The connection with plasma proteins is 10%.

    Penetrates through the placenta and enters the breast milk. Metabolism is not affected.

    The elimination half-life is 2-4 hours. Elimination by the kidneys is unchanged.

    Indications:

    It is used for the treatment of tuberculosis, venereal granuloma, plague.

    Renal failure, neuritis of the auditory nerve, individual intolerance.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Use in children

    It is prescribed for children only for life indications.

    The daily dose for children and adolescents is calculated by body weight and is 15-20 mg / kg, not more than 0.5 g / day for children and 1g / day for adolescents.

    7. Dosing and Administration

    Intramuscularly, 0.5-1 g once / day.

    The highest daily dose: 1 g.

    The highest single dose: 1 g.

    The course dose for the treatment of tuberculosis should not exceed 120 g.

    Side effects:

    Central and peripheral nervous system: neuromuscular blockade, respiratory arrest.

    Digestive system: candidiasis, nausea, vomiting, malabsorption syndrome.

    Sense organs: deafness.

    Urinary system: toxic nephrosis.

    Dermatological reactions: Candidiasis; itching, burning with local application.

    Allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Stop breathing.

    Hemodialysis, oxygen therapy, anticholinesterase drugs, calcium salts.

    Interaction:

    Simultaneous use with anesthetics, inhalation of halogenated hydrocarbons, blockers of neuromuscular transmission, massive transfusions of citrated blood increases the risk of blockade of neuromuscular transmission.

    Simultaneous use with warfarin enhances the therapeutic effect.

    When used simultaneously with other aminoglycosides, the risk of ototoxicity increases.

    Increased risk of nephrotoxicity while the use of amphotericin B, aldesleukin, salicylates, acyclovir, bacitracin, karmistinom, ifosfamide, gold preparations and lithium, sulfonamides, cytostatics.

    Special instructions:

    Monitoring of audiograms, kidney functions.
