Description:

Round biconvex tablets of light brown color, on the fracture are visible: the shell is light brown in color and the core is from brown to light brown in color.

    • Pharmacodynamics:Reduces the permeability of capillaries, has a venotonic, anti-edematous, anti-inflammatory and angioprotective action.

    It interferes with the activation of lysosomal enzymes that cleave proteoglycan, increases the tone of the venous wall, eliminates venous congestion, reduces the permeability and fragility of capillaries. Reduces exudation, reduces the effusion of fluid in the tissue and speeds up the resorption of the existing edema. It inhibits the processes of inflammation, improves microcirculation, contributes to the repair of organs and tissues.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Horse chestnut seed extract dry contains a large number of biologically active substances, which together determine its pharmacological activity. Therefore, the data on the pharmacokinetics of individual chemical components that make up the extract are not sufficient for extrapolation to the preparation as a whole.

    Indications:

    Chronic venous insufficiency of I-III class according to CEAR classification: varicose veins, edema, cramps in the calf muscles, feeling of heaviness in the legs.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the horse chestnut seed extract or any of the components of the preparation. Children's age (up to 18 years).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Due to the lack of sufficient clinical data, the use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside, 1 tablet 2 times a day (morning and evening) without chewing, squeezed a small amount of liquid, before eating.

    The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor depending on the severity of the symptoms of the disease and is no more than 16 weeks.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions (fever, urticaria, skin rash, itchy skin, anaphylactic shock), dyspepsia (including nausea), dizziness, headache.

    Overdose:

    Cases of drug overdose have not been registered to date. In case of overdose, see a doctor.

    Interaction:

    It is not recommended simultaneous use with indirect anticoagulants, since Venoplant® strengthens their action.

    Special instructions:

    It is necessary to strictly follow all the additional prescriptions of the doctor, such as: bandaging the legs, wearing elastic stockings, cold foot baths. All regulations must be strictly observed!

    If you suddenly get severe symptoms (especially on one leg), such as severe swelling, discoloration, sensation of tension, heat, pain, you should immediately consult a doctor, as they may be symptoms of a serious disease - thrombosis of the veins of the lower extremities.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    During the period of application of the drug, care should be taken when performing potentially dangerous activities requiring increased attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

    Form release / dosage:

    Tablets of prolonged action, covered with a film membrane, 263.2 mg.

    Packaging:

    For 20, 25 tablets in a blister of aluminum foil and PVC / PVDC - film. For 1, 2 or 4 blisters are placed together with instructions for use in a pack of cardboard.

    Storage conditions:

    Store at temperatures between 15 ° C and 25 ° C.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    3 years.
