Description:
Oval-shaped tablets with beveled edges, covered with a pink film shell, engraved with "VITRUM" on one side of the tablet and engraved with "OSTEOMAG" on the other side.
On the cross-section - the core of the tablet is from white to gray.

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Combined drug regulating the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body. The pharmacological effect of the drug is determined by the properties of its constituent ingredients.

    Vitamin D3 regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body, participates in the formation of bone tissue, restores the structure of bones, reduces the risk of fractures, increases calcium absorption in the intestine and reabsorption of phosphorus in the renal tubules.

    Magnesium in combination with vitamin D3 increases the absorption of calcium, slows down the loss of bone mass, prevents the formation of calcium oxalate stones

    Calcium is involved in the formation of bone tissue, control of blood pressure and the process of blood clotting. Promotes the formation of bones, teeth, increased bone density. Reduces the risk of osteoporosis. Promotes the normal functioning of the nervous and muscular systems.

    Zinc is involved in the formation of bones.

    Manganese participates in the processes of energy education, protein and fat metabolism, bone and connective tissue building, osteosynthesis.

    Copper influences the processes of formation of bone mass, hemoglobin and erythrocytes.Participates in the formation of collagen, which is part of the bone and connective tissue, helps prevent osteoporosis.

    Boron is involved in maintaining a healthy bone state, metabolic processes of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. Improves calcium absorption, reduces the risk of vitamin deficiency D3, helps to prevent postmenopausal osteoporosis.

    Indications:

    Prevention and complex therapy of osteoporosis (menopausal, senile, steroid, idiopathic, etc.) and its complications (fractures of bones);

    - replenishment of calcium, magnesium and vitamin deficiency during and after menopause;

    - replenishment of calcium, magnesium and vitamin deficiency D3 in the elderly.

    Contraindications:

    Severe renal dysfunction, increased calcium in the urine or blood (hypercalciuria, hypercalcemia), urolithiasis (formation of calcium stones), increased excretion of calcium in the urine.

    Hypersensitivity to vitamin A D3 and other components of the drug.

    Children under 12 years.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    During pregnancy, the daily dose of calcium should not exceed 1500 mg.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside. Adults, for prevention and complex therapy of osteoporosis and its complications, replacement of calcium, magnesium and vitamin deficiency D3 during and after menopause, as well as in the elderly - 1-2 tablets a day.     Side effects:

    Possible allergic reactions to the components of the drug. Dysfunction of the gastrointestinal tract may be observed (constipation or diarrhea, bloating, epigastric pain, nausea). With prolonged use in high doses, it is possible to increase the calcium content in urine and blood.

    Overdose:

    Symptoms of an overdose: nausea, weakness, gastrointestinal disorders.

    In case of overdose, see a doctor.

    Treatment: Activated carbon inside, gastric lavage, symptomatic treatment.

    Interaction:

    The drug slows the absorption of antibiotics of the tetracycline group, acetylsalicylic acid and other salicylates, sulfonamides, beta-blockers and anticoagulants of indirect action. In this regard, the drug is recommended to use for 2 hours or 2 hours after taking other medications.

    Thiazide diuretics reduce the excretion of calcium in the urine. Therefore, one should keep in mind the risk of developing hypercalcemia when they are used simultaneously with the drug. The appointment in high doses to patients receiving digitalis preparations may increase the risk of arrhythmias.

    For 30, 60, 100, 120 or 130 tablets in a vial of polyethylene with a screw cap made of the same material and a safety valve made of foil. A label is attached to the vial,

    the bottle is tightened with a polyethylene film and, together with the instruction for use, is placed in a cardboard box.

    Storage conditions:
