    Composition:

    To obtain the extract you need:

    Chamomile flowers of pharmacy flowers - 500 g;

    Calendula officinalis flowers - 250 g;

    Yarrow of ordinary grass - 250 g;

    Ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 40% is sufficient to produce 1000 ml.

    The liquid is from brown to reddish brown, with a characteristic odor; during storage, a deposit may occur.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Combined product of vegetable origin Rotokan has anti-inflammatory effect, has haemostatic and antispasmodic properties.

    Indications:

    In dentistry the drug is used in adults with inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa of various etiologies and periodontal diseases, such as aphthous stomatitis, periodontitis, ulcerative necrotic gingivostomatitis.

    In gastroenterology the drug is used in adults in the complex therapy of gastroduodenitis, chronic enteritis and colitis.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to components included in the composition of the drug, the age of 18 years, violations of liver function, severe renal dysfunction, alcoholism, craniocerebral trauma, brain disease.

    Carefully:

    When ingestion - a malfunction of the kidneys of mild and moderate severity, glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis.

    If you have any of these diseases, consult a doctor before taking the drug.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The drug is contraindicated for use in pregnancy and during the breast feeding.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Rotokan is applied topically, inward and rectally in the form of an aqueous solution, which before preparation is prepared by adding 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of the drug in 200 ml (1 cup) of warm boiled water. If the drug is well tolerated, the dose can be increased to 15 ml (3 teaspoons) per 1 cup of warm boiled water.

    The daily dose of the drug is from 10 to 15 ml (2 - 3 teaspoons). The maximum daily dose of the drug is 30 ml (6 teaspoons).

    Locally: with diseases of the oral mucosa the solution of the drug is used by applying (15-20 minutes) or mouthwashes for 1 to 2 minutes, 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 2-5 days.

    Periodontal treatment spend after removal of a tartar and scraping of pathological gingival pockets. Thin turuns are introduced into the gingival pockets for 20 minutes. richly moistened with an aqueous solution of the drug. The procedure is carried out once a day, every day or every other day. The duration of treatment is 4-6 procedures.

    Inside (in gastroenterology): the aqueous solution of the drug is taken in 60-100 ml (1/3-1 / 2 cup) 30 minutes before meals or 40-60 minutes after meals, 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

    Rectal (in gastroenterology): an aqueous solution of the preparation in a volume of 50-100 ml, is applied 1 to 2 times a day in the form of microclysters, after a cleansing enema. The course of treatment is 3-6 days.

    Side effects:
    Allergic reactions are possible.
    If any of the above side effects appear, discontinue use and consult a doctor as soon as possible.

    Overdose:To date, no cases of drug overdose have been reported.
    Interaction:At present, there are no clinically significant interactions of the Rotokan preparation when it is used together with other drugs.

    The content of ethanol in the preparation is at least 33%. A single dose of the drug (1 / 3-1 / 2 teaspoons) contains up to 0.651 grams of absolute ethyl alcohol.

    The daily dose of the drug (2-3 teaspoons) contains up to 3.906 grams of absolute ethyl alcohol.

    The maximum daily dose (up to 6 teaspoons) contains 7.812 grams of absolute ethyl alcohol.

    Do not exceed the indicated daily dose.
