Standards for monitoring pregnant women

Observation of pregnant women is the main task of the women's consultation. From the quality of outpatient monitoring aimed at the prevention of obstetric complications, the outcome of pregnancy and childbirth largely depends. It has been established that women who are seen from early terms and during pregnancy visit the doctor at least 7 times, the level of perinatal mortality is lower by a factor of 2 compared to those who are not on dispensary records. According to the order of the Russian Ministry of Health No. 572n of November 1, 2012, a pregnant woman should visit a woman's consultation at least 7 times with a physiological pregnancy.
Examinations of pregnant women are carried out:
- doctor obstetrician-gynecologist - at least 7 times;
- Therapist - at least 2 times;
- dentist - at least 2 times;
- Otorhinolaryngologist, ophthalmologist - at least 1 time (no later than 7-10 days after the initial reference to the women's consultation);
- Other specialist doctors - according to the indications, taking into account the accompanying extragenital diseases.
Screening ultrasound (hereinafter - ultrasound) is carried out three times (at the time of pregnancy):
- 11-14 weeks;
- 18-21 weeks;
- 30-34 weeks
