Pharmacodynamics:Cytochrome is an electron acceptor in the reactions of cellular respiration, has an antihypoxic effect.
Pharmacokinetics:With topical application cytochrome C not absorbed into the blood. In the body it is metabolized completely, splitting up to bilirubin. It is excreted with feces.
Adenosine is distributed throughout all tissues, the half-life of plasma is less than 1 minute. Metabolized in virtually all tissues with the formation of inosine, xanthine and urate, is excreted in the urine.
Nicotinamide is rapidly absorbed, metabolized into N-methyl nicotinamide, which breaks down in the liver. It is excreted in the urine.
Indications:Prevention and treatment of cataracts.

Contraindications:Individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
Pregnancy and lactation:Adequate and well-controlled studies on humans and animals have not been conducted, there is no evidence of penetration into breast milk, therefore, the drug can not be recommended during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Dosing and Administration:Prevention and treatment of cataracts - 1-2 drops 3 times a day. The drug is intended for long-term use.
Side effects:Irritation of the conjunctiva (hyperemia, burning, itching).
Interaction:There were no clinically significant interactions with other drugs.
Special instructions:The shelf life of the drug after opening the package is 1 month.
You can not combine the use of the drug with the wearing of soft contact lenses. They must be removed and dressed again not earlier than 15 minutes after instillation of the drug.
