Composition:

Active substances: ascorbic acid - 50 mg, rutozid (rutin) - 50 mg.

Excipients: sucrose (sugar) - 147.1 mg, potato starch -76.2 mg, calcium stearate monohydrate (calcium stearate 1-water) -2.6 mg, talc - 4.1 mg.

Description:Tablets are round, flat-cylindrical, with a facet and a risk, light greenish-yellow with small impregnations of green, brown and white.

    • Pharmacodynamics:Ascorbic acid participates in the regulation of oxidation-reduction reactions, carbohydrate metabolism, collagen synthesis. Rutozid eliminates the increased permeability of capillaries, strengthens the vascular wall.
    Indications:

    Prevention and treatment of hypo- and avitaminosis C and P.

    As part of complex therapy for varicose veins, trophic disorders and skin ulcers, with chronic venous insufficiency, hemorrhagic diathesis.

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity, children's age, sugar deficiency / isomaltase, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.
    Carefully:
    Conditions accompanied by hypercoagulable blood and a tendency to thrombosis, thrombophlebitis.
    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Due to the content of the drug routine it should not be used in the first trimester of pregnancy.

    The minimum daily requirement for ascorbic acid in the II-III trimesters of pregnancy is about 60 mg. It should be borne in mind that the fetus can adapt to high doses of ascorbic acid, which is taken by a pregnant woman, and then a "cancellation" syndrome may develop in a newborn.

    Minimum daily need for; lactation period - 80 mg. A mother's diet containing an adequate amount of ascorbic acid is sufficient to prevent her deficiency in an infant. Theoretically, there is a danger to the child when the mother uses high doses of ascorbic acid (it is recommended not to exceed the daily need for ascorbic acid by the lactating mother). At the use of a preparation it is necessary to observe a dosage and duration of a course of the reception during the pregnancy and lactation, appointed by the doctor.

    Dosing and Administration:Inside, 1 tablet 2-3 times a day during or after a meal. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. Length of prophylaxis - 1-2 tablets per day. The course is determined individually.
    Side effects:Allergic reactions, dyspeptic disorders, headache.
    Interaction:Ascorbic acid increases the absorption of drugs of the penicillin and iron group; reduces the clinical effect of heparin and indirect anticoagulants.
