Pharmacodynamics:The drug Aurisan® has an antiseptic effect and has a wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms (genus Streptococcus, clan Staphylococcus, sem. Enterobacteriaceae, Corynebacterium diphtheriae). yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida, dermatomycetes (genus Trichophyton, clan Epidermophyton), protozoa and viruses. On microorganisms, the drug acts bactericidal, sporicidally, fungicidally. Aurisan increases the sensitivity of bacteria to antibiotics, potentiates the effect of traditional antimicrobial agents in complex treatment.
Pharmacokinetics:

Not studied.

Indications:

Aurisan® is used in adults and children to treat bacterial and fungal acute and chronic external and secondary otitis media.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to decamethylene-dimethylmethoxycarbonylmethylammonium dichloride and ethanol, violation of the integrity of the tympanic membrane, children under 12 years of age.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Use in pregnancy is possible only if the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus. If it is necessary to use during the lactation period, the question of stopping breastfeeding should be solved.

Dosing and Administration:

Locally. When otitis patients a turunda of cotton wool or gauze is placed in the ear canal, then a solution (warmed to body temperature) is injected into the earwax daily 2-3 drops of Aurisan® 3-4 times a day.

The course of treatment is 7 days. After opening, the bottle is closed with a lid-dropper.

Side effects:

There are local allergic reactions: hyperemia, itching and flaking of the skin of the external auditory canal, which disappear without treatment, after the drug is discontinued.

Perhaps a quick-burning sensation during the application of the drug, as well as the reaction of local ear irritation with increased individual sensitivity to decamethylene-dimethylmethoxycarbonylmethylammonium dichloride (decamethoxin).

Overdose:

Cases of overdose have not been described to date.

Interaction:

Currently, there is no information on the interaction of the drug Aurisan® with other drugs.

Special instructions:

Aurisan® is used exclusively for ear disorders. In severe and persistent infections, local treatment should be supplemented with systemic use of antibiotics.

Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms, as well as to perform other works that require increased concentration of attention and reaction speed.

Vials of 5 ml with a lid-dropper in a pack of cardboard, together with instructions for use.
