    D.03   Preparations for the treatment of wounds and ulcers

    Pharmacodynamics:Sodium hyaluronate - saline high molecular weight polysaccharide contained in eye tissues and other tissues and fluids of the human body, and has a pronounced ability to bind water molecules. The aqueous sodium hyaluronate solution has the required viscosity, and high adhesive properties relative to the front surface of the eye, thereby forming a uniform surface on the cornea, continuing for a long time predrogovichnuyu tear film, which gradually leaches during blinking.Thus, an aqueous solution of sodium hyaluronate helps stabilize the tear film and increases its hydrating properties: it does not cause a decrease in visual acuity.
    Pharmacokinetics:

    Sodium hyaluronate is not absorbed and is not distributed in the tissues of the eye due to its high molecular weight.

    Indications:

    Symptomatic treatment of the "dry eye" syndrome.

    Contraindications:

    - Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
