Pharmacodynamics:

The drug is a combination of active ingredients: benzocaine, butambene, hydrocortisone, Framicetin and esculoside.

Hydrocortisone - a hormone-glucocorticosteroid, has anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative action. Eliminates the signs and symptoms of inflammation, such as redness, swelling and pain.

Framicetin sulfate is a broad-spectrum antibiotic for topical application from the aminoglycoside group. Antibiotic ferricetin It is produced by some types of streptomycetes.

Framicetin has bactericidal activity against a number of gram-negative microorganisms (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Aerobacter spp., Salmonella typhimurium, Salmonella paratyphi B, Shigella spp., Pasteurella multocida, Brucella spp., Proteus spp. (including Proteus vulgaris), Pseudomonas spp. (including Pseudomonas aerugones), Serratia marcescens, Alcaligenes spp. and Bacillus subtilis), as well as gram-positive cocci (Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus faecalis, Streptococcus pneumoniae), with streptococci less sensitive to framicetin. Framicetin has no activity against pathogenic fungi, viruses, anaerobic flora.

Sodium heparin is an anticoagulant. Prevents thrombotic complications of hemorrhoids.

Eskulozid - a substance that is similar in its chemical structure to rutozide; reduces the increased fragility of capillaries.

Benzocaine and butambene have a local anesthetic and antipruritic effect, reduce the spasm of the anal sphincter.

The effect of the drug manifests itself in a few minutes after application.

Indications:

Internal and external hemorrhoids (acute and chronic); prevention of recurrence of internal and external hemorrhoids; perianal eczema; proctitis; acute and chronic cracks in the anus; preoperative and postoperative treatment of patients with hemorrhoids.

Contraindications:

Tuberculosis, viral, fungal infection of the anorectal zone; pregnancy; lactation period (breastfeeding); children's age (due to the lack of clinical data on the use of the drug), hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

Dosing and Administration:

Side effects:

When using the drug in high doses and for a long time there is a risk of systemic side effects associated with the presence of hydrocortisone in the formulation.

Local reactions: a feeling of discomfort in the rectum, burning in the rectum, dryness of the rectal mucosa.

Other: secondary infection, allergic reactions and other hypersensitivity reactions.
