    Composition:

    Birch leaves.

    Birch leaves contain essential oils, resins, tannins, flavonoids, saponins, macro- and microelements, and other biologically active substances.

    Description:

    Pieces of various shapes passing through a sieve with holes 2 mm in size, green, gray-green with light brown, less often whitish and dark brown patches. The odor is peculiar, weak fragrant. The taste of water extract is bitterish.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Infusion of birch leaves has a diuretic effect.

    Indications:Birch leaf infusion is used in, as a diuretic, for edema of cardiovascular and renal origin.
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the drug. Chronic renal failure, acute glomerulonephritis.
    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Application during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is possible if the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. It is necessary to consult a doctor.

    Dosing and Administration:

    2 filter packets (3.0 g) are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of boiling water, cover and insist 15 minutes. Filter packets, squeeze, the volume of the obtained infusion is made boiled water to 200 ml.

    Take inside 1 / 3-1 / 4 cup 3-4 times a day for 30 minutes before meals.
