    Pharmacodynamics:

    Antiviral drug, is active against the virus Herpes simplex and some adenovirus types 3, 7, 8. Suppresses the synthesis of cytoplasmic proteins included in capsids, and disrupts the transport of components of the viral capsid into the cell nucleus, where they are "assembled".

    Indications:

    Viral diseases of the eye (herpetic keratitis, adenoviral conjunctivitis and keratoconjunctivitis).

    Contraindications:

    Dosing and Administration:

    Locally. A strip of ointment 1 cm long is placed in the lower eyelid 3-4 times a day.In herpetic diseases of the eyes, the course of treatment is 10-12 days, with adenovirus conjunctivitis and keratoconjunctivitis is 7-10 days.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions, burning in the eye (usually after 5-10 minutes), transient fogging of vision. If any of the side effects listed in the manual are aggravated, or you notice any other side effect not indicated in the instructions, inform the doctor about it.
