    Pharmacodynamics:

    Combined product for external use.

    Boric acid

    Coagulates the proteins and enzymes of the membrane of the microbial cell, violates its permeability, has an antiseptic effect.

    Procain

    A local anesthetic drug blocks sodium channels. By displacing calcium from the cell membrane receptors, it prevents the generation and generation of pulses in the fibers and terminals of the sensory nerves. Does not have a pronounced effect on the resting potential, but changes the action potential of neurons. Interrupts the transmission of both pain and impulses of another modality.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Boric acid

    Penetrates through the skin and mucous membrane, accumulates in organs and tissues. Elimination by the kidneys: in an amount of 50% within 12 hours, the rest of the remedy - within 5-7 days.

    Procain

    When topical application is not absorbed through the skin and mucous membranes, systemic action on the body does not have.

    Indications:

    It is used to treat otitis, dermatitis, eczema and diaper rash.

    With prolonged use in large areas of the skin or in contact with mucous membranes, the systemic effect of boric acid is manifested in the appearance of vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, desquamation of the epithelium, headache, confusion, oliguria, seizures.

    Treatment is symptomatic. Effective hemodialysis.

    Interaction:

    Clinically significant interactions are not described.

    Special instructions:

    When using the product, it is advisable to avoid applying to mucous membranes.
