    Pharmacodynamics:

    Immunostimulating agent of plant origin.

    Increases nonspecific resistance, activates macrophages and granulocytes, enhances phagocytosis. The release of cytokines leads to the proliferation and stimulation of immunocompetent cells. Serum content of serum increases. Some substances contained in the extract of Echinacea have antiviral activity against influenza and herpes viruses, as well as inhibitory effect on tissue and bacterial hyaluronidase. Increases the body's resistance to viral, bacterial and fungal infections.

    Indications:

    Prevention of ARVI and ARI; at initial signs of a flu and cold (in complex therapy); as an adjuvant for recurrent infections of the respiratory and urinary tract.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity (including to other plants of the family Asteraceae: daisy, arnica, daisy gold, marigold), systemic connective tissue disease, progressive systemic diseases (tuberculosis, leukemia, widespread atherosclerosis, multiple sclerosis, autoimmune diseases), AIDS, HIV infection, children's age (up to 12 years), pregnancy, breast-feeding.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    It should not be prescribed during pregnancy and lactation, as the safety of the drug in these situations has not been studied.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Tablets and lozenges for resorption. Keep in the mouth until completely absorbed. Adults and children over 12 years of age - 1 tableor pastilles 3-4 times a day. To achieve a good result, the drug should be taken at least 1 week. The drug should not be taken for a long time (more than 8 weeks).

    Extract in the form of a liquid solution. Is taken internally. Assign adults and children from 12 years. For prophylaxis: 20-30 drops of solution 3 times a day. Course 2 months.

    For the treatment of acute infectious diseases (as part of complex therapy): the first intake of 50 drops, then 10-20 drops every hour during the day.

    In all other cases, the drug should be taken 20-30 drops 3 times a day. The solution should be held for a while in the mouth.

    Homeopathic granules. 5 granules 2 times a day for 20 minutes before meals or 1 hour after meals. The course of treatment is 14 days. Follow-up treatment after consultation with a doctor.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions (skin rashes, itching, face swelling, difficulty breathing, dizziness, lowering blood pressure). When hypersensitivity develops, the drug should be discontinued.

    Overdose:

    So far there have been no reports of an overdose.

    Interaction:

    Echinacea narrow-leaved extract possesses immunostimulating action, simultaneous application with cytokines can strengthen its effect.

    Simultaneous use with immunosuppressants and glucocorticosteroids can weaken their effect.

    Special instructions:

    The drug should not be taken for a long time (more than 8 weeks). To determine the appropriateness of subsequent courses of treatment, a doctor's consultation is necessary.

    Do not exceed the recommended dose of the drug.
