    Pharmacodynamics:

    Increases the body's resistance to viral, bacterial and fungal infections. Nonspecific resistance increases, macrophages and granulocytes are activated, phagocytosis is increased. The release of cytokines leads to the proliferation and stimulation of immunocompetent cells. Serum content of serum increases.Some substances contained in the extract of Echinacea have antiviral activity against influenza and herpes viruses, as well as inhibitory effect on tissue and bacterial hyaluronidase.

    Indications:

    - prevention of ARVI and ARI;

    - at initial signs of a flu and cold (in complex therapy);

    - as an adjuvant for relapsing respiratory tract infections.

    Contraindications:

    - hypersensitivity to Echinacea purpurea, to other plants of the family Compositae (chamomile, arnica, golden daisy, marigold, etc.), as well as to any other ingredients of the preparation;

    - systemic connective tissue diseases, progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukemia, common atherosclerosis;

    - multiple sclerosis, autoimmune diseases;

    - AIDS, HIV infection;

    - children's age (up to 12 years).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    It should not be prescribed during pregnancy and lactation, as the safety of the drug in these situations has not been studied.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Pastilles should be kept in the mouth until they are completely absorbed.

    Adults and children over 12 years old 1 lozenge 3-4 times a day for at least a week.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions (skin rashes, itching, face swelling, difficulty breathing, dizziness, lower blood pressure). With the development of hypersensitivity, the use of troches should be stopped.

    Overdose:To date, there have been no reports of cases of intoxication in humans.
    Interaction:

    To date, there have been no reports of drug interactions with other drugs. Since echinacea has an immunostimulating effect, simultaneous use with immunosuppressants and glucocorticosteroids can weaken their effect, and simultaneous use of the drug with cytokines can enhance their effect.

    Special instructions:

    The drug should not be taken for a long time (more than 8 weeks).
