    Composition:

    per 100 g of solution:

    Active substance: Echinacea purpurea grass juice (1,7-2,5: 1) - 80 g.

    Excipients: ethanol 96% -18.1 g, water-1.9 g.

    Description:

    Transparent or from light to moderate turbidity liquid of light brown color, with a characteristic smell. During storage it is allowed to form a slight flocculent deposit.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The drug has an immunostimulating and anti-inflammatory effect. Increases the phagocytic activity of neutrophils and macrophages; stimulates interleukin-1 production; induces the transformation of B-lymphocytes into plasma cells; strengthens the function of T-helpers; stimulates bone marrow hematopoiesis, as a result of which the number of leukocytes and cells of the reticuloendothelial system increases.

    Indications:

    Prevention of acute respiratory viral diseases.

    Complex therapy of acute and chronic recurrent infectious diseases of the upper respiratory and urinary tract; secondary immunodeficiency states of various etiology (infections, radiation, chemotherapy).

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug (including the plants of the family Compositae), systemic and autoimmune diseases (tuberculosis, leukemia, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and HIV infection, systemic lupus erythematosus, oncological diseases), children under 4 years old, pregnancy, lactation period.
    Carefully:

    Diabetes mellitus, chronic liver disease, chronic alcoholism, bronchial asthma, epilepsy.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Use inside, diluting or squeezed with a small amount of liquid.

    Adults and children over 12 years: 2.5 ml 3 times a day.

    At the beginning of therapy - 1,25 ml every 1-2 hours. In the future, 2.5 ml 3 times a day. The course of treatment should not exceed 8 weeks.

    To determine the appropriateness of subsequent courses of treatment, a doctor's consultation is necessary.

    Side effects:

    In very rare cases, allergic reactions may develop (hyperthermia, facial swelling, shortness of breath), dizziness, lowering of blood pressure.

    Overdose:

    Symptoms (when taking large doses of oral solution): nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, insomnia, increased excitability of the nervous system. Treatment: symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    Alcohol included in the composition can affect the effectiveness of other drugs (in particular, reduce the activity of immunosuppressants, change the effect of derivatives of cephalosporin and ethanol-containing beverages).

    It is possible to use simultaneously with antibiotics and other antimicrobial drugs.

    Special instructions:

    The drug contains about 22% alcohol. The risk group consists of patients with epilepsy, alcoholism, with impaired liver function, brain damage.

    When taking the drug with cephalosporin derivatives or ethanol-containing beverages, nausea, sweating, headache, and palpitation may occur.

    Before use, the vial should be shaken.

    Does not affect the concentration of attention and psychomotor reaction.

    Form release / dosage:Solution for oral administration.
    Packaging:

    For 50 and 100 ml in a dropper of dark glass (hydrolytic class 3), a dropper made of polyethylene, with a screw cap made of polypropylene.

    Each bottle is a dropper complete with a measuring cup made of polystyrene (with divisions of 1.25, 2.0 and 2.5 ml) and the instructions for use are placed in a cardboard box.

    Storage conditions:

    In the dark place at a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C.

    Shelf life after the opening of 12 weeks.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    5 years.

    Do not use after the expiration date printed on the package.
