    Composition:Fennel fruit.
    Description:

    Individual half-fruits (merikarpii), less often whole fruits 4-10 mm long, up to 1.5-4 mm wide. Merikarpii oblong, naked, the outer side convex, the inner - flat. The color of the fruit is greenish-brown. The smell is strong, fragrant. The taste of the water extract is sweetish-spicy.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Fennel ordinary fruits contain essential oil, flavonoids, carotene, vitamin C, phytoncides.

    Infusion of fennel fruit has spasmolytic, as well as expectorant effect. Pharmacological properties of the drug are due, to a large extent, reflex reactions associated with irritation of sensitive nerve endings of the gastrointestinal tract and respiratory tract.

    Indications:

    The drug is used as a carminative for meteorism in the form of dill water, as well as an expectorant, in inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug.

    Dosing and Administration:

    1 teaspoon of raw material is placed in enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    As an antispasmodic and carminative, take 1/2 cups on an empty stomach 2-3 times a day.

    As an expectorant, 1 tablespoon is prescribed 4-5 times a day.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    50 grams, 100 grams per pack of cardboard with an inner paper bag and instructions for use.

    Storage conditions:

    In a dry place protected from light.

    Ready infusion - in a dark cool place for no more than 2 days.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    3 years.

    Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
