Pharmacodynamics:

Violets herb contains anthocyanins, carotenoids, ascorbic acid, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, polysaccharides, essential oil (containing methyl salicylate) and other biologically active substances.

Infusion of violets has an expectorant and anti-inflammatory effect, exhibits moderate choleretic and diuretic properties.

Indications:

In the complex therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory organs (tracheitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, whooping cough).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug, gastritis and peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum during the exacerbation, cholelithiasis, pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years.

Dosing and Administration:

2 filter packets (3 g) are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of boiling water, cover and insist for 15 minutes, periodically pressing on the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

Take inside in a warm form for 1 / 3-1 / 2 cup 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 20-25 days.

Conducting a second course is possible 10-12 days after consulting a doctor. Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Long-term use of violets of grass in doses exceeding the recommended levels, can lead to the appearance of nausea, vomiting.
