    Composition:Violets grass.
    Description:

    A mixture of pieces of stems (green, light green and yellowish green), leaves (green), flowers (light yellow, light purple and blue), fruits (light brown) of various shapes passing through a sieve holes with a size of 7 mm. The smell is weak. The taste of the water extract is sweetish with a sensation of mucus.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The violet grass contains anthocyanins, carotenoids, ascorbic acid, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, polysaccharides, essential oil (containing methyl salicylate).

    Infusion of violet grass has expectorant, anti-inflammatory, moderate choleretic effect, as well as some diuretic action.

    Indications:

    In the complex treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (including tracheitis, bronchitis, pneumonia).

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug's components, gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in acute, gallstone disease, pregnancy, breast-feeding, child up to 12 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    About 8 grams (2 tablespoons) of crushed material is placed in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, capped, and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials squeeze. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Adults and children over 12 years of age inside in a warm form on 1 / 3-1 / 2 cup infusion 2-3 times a day.

    The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. Conducting a second course of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    Overdose:

    Symptoms of overdose: nausea, vomiting.

    Treatment: symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    The drug should not be used simultaneously with antitussive drugs, as this makes it difficult to cough up thinned phlegm.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    Acceptance of the drug does not affect the ability to perform potentially dangerous activities requiring increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions (driving and other vehicles, working with moving mechanisms, dispatcher and operator work, etc.).

    Packaging:

    100 grams, 75 grams, 50 grams, 35 grams, 30 grams in a cardboard box with an inner paper bag or with an inner bag of polypropylene. The full text of the instructions for use is applied to the pack.

    Storage conditions:

    In a dry place protected from light.

    Ready to keep the infusion in a cool place for no more than 2 days.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    3 years.
