Pharmacodynamics:

Combined herbal preparation;

pharmacological activity is due to a complex of biologically active substances that make up its composition.

The extract of valerian has a moderate sedative and spasmolytic effect.

The hawthorn extract has a moderate cardiotonic, spasmolytic, sedative effect.

Indications:

As a sedative with increased nervous excitability, insomnia, as well as in complex therapy of functional disorders of cardiac activity, cardialgia, astheno-neurotic states.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug,
children's age (under 18, due to lack of clinical data)

Pregnancy and lactation:Due to the lack of sufficient studies to date, the drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Dosing and Administration:

Take in adults, without chewing, with a small amount of water, 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day.

For insomnia, take 2 tablets 30-60 minutes before bedtime.

The course of treatment is 1,5-2 months.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions (hives, itching) are possible. With prolonged use in doses exceeding recommended, sluggishness, depression, drowsiness, decreased efficiency are possible.

Overdose:

With an overdose, a feeling of fatigue, abdominal pain, heaviness in the chest, dizziness, tremor, mydriasis, bradycardia, a decrease in blood pressure.

Interaction:

The drug enhances the effect of hypnotics, sedatives, tranquilizers and other drugs that depress the central nervous system, antispasmodics, and also ethanol, which requires correction of doses in a joint application.

With combined use of the drug and cardiac glycosides (strophanthine, digoxin and others), the cardiotonic effect increases.

Special instructions:

Do not use the drug for more than 1.5-2 months daily.

When using the drug, the speed of psychomotor reactions can be reduced, so it should not be used before driving vehicles or working with mechanisms.
