Excipients: ascorbic acid (vitamin C) (5 mg), condensed whole milk with sugar (1990 mg), starch treacle (1050 mg), granulated sugar (sucrose) (2380 mg), vanillin (0.9 mg).

Description:Pastilles are brown or dark brown in color, specific odor, divided by 6 or 10 plates.

Pharmacodynamics:Hematogen L is a source of high-grade protein, fats, carbohydrates, minerals and amino acids. The drug increases the hemoglobin content in the blood, replenishes the deficiency of iron, lysine (an indispensable amino acid) in the body.

Indications:Prevention of iron deficiency in unbalanced diet in adults and children in the period of intensive growth.

Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, a violation of carbohydrate metabolism, anemia, not related to iron deficiency, sugar / isomaltase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption, children under 4 years.

Pregnancy and lactation:Before use, consult a doctor.

Dosing and Administration:Applied internally, children from 4 to 6 years - 1-2 plates a day, from 7 to 14 lay down - 1-3 plates a day, with 14 years and adults - 2-6 plates per day.

Side effects:Nausea, a feeling of heaviness and pain in the epigastrium, loss of appetite, diarrhea, or constipation. Allergic reactions: rash, itching.

Overdose:Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Treatment: rinse the stomach with 1% aqueous sodium bicarbonate solution or designate deferoxamine.

Interaction:When combined use of tetracyclines, D-penicillamine, antacids containing salts of aluminum, magnesium and calcium, the absorption of iron preparations decreases.

Special instructions:

One plate contains 0.4 XE.

It is not recommended to combine with other iron preparations.
