    Composition:

    Each tube (30 g) contains:

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The drug HEPAROID ZENTIVA is an anti-inflammatory, antithrombotic agent for external use.

    The drug has an anti-inflammatory, antiexudative action, anti-rejuvenating activity. Reduces the increased coagulability of blood in the area of ​​inflammation - or damage in trauma, prevents the formation of blood clots; accelerates resorption by hematomas,reduces the formation of edema and has an anti-inflammatory effect, as a result of which the feeling of tension and pain in the place of inflammation or trauma decreases.

    Pharmacokinetics:Heparinoid is a sulfated high-molecular compound with anticoagulant and lipolytic activity, which is caused by activation of lipoprotein lipase, which cleaves fatty acids from lipoproteins. At the site of inflammation or post-traumatic concussion, it reduces blood clotting, strengthens the process of resorption of the hematoma, reduces the formation of edema (relieves tension, relieves pain) and exhibits anti-inflammatory effects.
    Indications:

    Surface thrombophlebitis, migrating thrombophlebitis, periphlebitis in varicose ulcers, thrombophlebitis in varicose, complex, skin fibrosis in chronic venous insufficiency, fresh hypertrophic and keloid scars, local complications after sclerotherapy; tendovaginitis, posttraumatic hematomas, bruises, soft tissue injuries.

    Phlebitis and thrombophlebitis of superficial veins of different etiology and localization, periphlebitis with trophic ulcer of the tibia.

    Treatment of local complications after phlebosclerosing therapy, softening of scar tissue with fresh hypertrophic scars.

    Contusions of soft tissues, post-traumatic edema, hematomas, tendovaginitis.

    The drug is intended for use in adults and children; starting with infancy.

    Contraindications:Sensitive sensitivity to heparinoids and other components of the drug. Hemorrhagic diathesis, various forms of purpura, thrombocytopenia, hemophilia, other pathological conditions with a tendency to bleeding.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Ointment HEPAROID ZENTIVA is applied 1 mm thick on the affected area and around it 2-3 times a day with an interval of 4-5 hours and gently rub until fully absorbed.

    With extensive bruises on the surface treated with ointment, you can put an impenetrable bandage, best for the night. In cases of vein diseases, a pressure bandage can be applied, with GEPAROID ZENTIVA ointment. If there is trophic ulcer of the leg, the ointment should be rubbed around it.

    The duration of the course of treatment with the drug HEPAROID ZENTIVA is determined by the doctor individually and is usually 1-2 weeks.

    Without the appointment of a doctor, it is not recommended to use the drug for more than 2 weeks.

    Usually, the use of the drug HEPAROID ZENTIVA with venous diseases is part of the complex treatment, therefore it is necessary to carefully follow the doctor's prescriptions (simultaneous reception of other medicines, the application of a pressure bandage or the use of an elastic stocking).

    If in case of treatment of soft tissue injuries within three days, the drug HEPAROID ZENTYVA is not marked positive. dynamics or signs of side effects are revealed, the drug should be discontinued and consult a doctor.

    Side effects:Usually the drug is well tolerated. Infrequent (frequency 0.1 - 1%) may be temporary signs of local irritation of the skin in the form of redness, rashes or itching of the skin. Rarely (a frequency of 0.01 to 0.1%) may develop a hypersensitivity to the heparinoid or other components of this drug. In very rare cases (frequency less than 0.01%), due to the use in large areas and in large doses, hemorrhagic complications are possible due to resorptive action. If symptoms appear, the drug should be discontinued and treatedto the doctor to decide the possibility of further treatment with the drug HEPAROID ZENTIVA. Patients should inform their physician about all incidental (unusual) effects, including those not listed in this manual.
    Overdose:Cases of drug overdose are not described. If the drug is taken orally, nausea and vomiting may occur, in this situation it is necessary to rinse the stomach and consult a doctor.
    Interaction:

    Without consulting a doctor, simultaneous use of HEPAROID ZENTYVA with other drugs is not recommended.

    The drug HEPAROID ZENTIVA can not be used concomitantly with topical drugs containing tetracycline, hydrocortisone, salicylic acid.

    A thorough laboratory control is necessary with simultaneous administration of anticoagulants.

    Special instructions:

    The drug should not be applied to the open wound surface, the damaged surface of the skin, mucous membranes, avoid getting the ointment in the eyes.

    During pregnancy and when breastfeeding the drug is not recommended to be used for a long time or on large areas of the skin, the use of the drug is possible only in justified cases, as prescribed by the doctor.The drug is not recommended in the last trimester of pregnancy because of the possible risk of bleeding during childbirth.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:The use of the drug has no effect on activities requiring an increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (does not interfere with the management of vehicles and work with mechanisms).
    Form release / dosage:Ointment for external use 200 IU / g.
    Packaging:For 30 grams in an aluminum tube. Each tube is placed in a cardboard box together with instructions for use.
    Storage conditions:

    At a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    3 years.

    Do not use after the expiration date.
