Pharmacodynamics:

The local irritant effect of the mustard packet is due to reflex reactions arising in connection with irritation of the nerve endings of the skin.

Indications:

In the complex therapy of acute respiratory infections, bronchitis, pneumonia, myalgia, neuralgia, lumboeishalgia, arthralgia, sprains, osteochondrosis, cardialgia.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, violation of the integrity of the skin, pyoderma, eczema, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hyperthermia.

Dosing and Administration:

Outwardly. Before use, the mustard packet is shaken in a horizontal position to distribute the powder evenly in the cells, immersed in water heated to + 37 ° C for 15-20 seconds, then applied to the skin with a porous side. To enhance the effect, the mustard package is covered with a polyethylene film and pressed tightly against the body with a bandage or other bandage. The procedure time is from 5 to 20 minutes (until a persistent redness appears); in children - 2, 3, 5 or 10 minutes, depending on the child's age, irritating effect and individual sensitivity of the patient.
