Description:

Tablets are round, biconvex form of white with a creamy shade of color with a smell of menthol (without flavor); white-pink color with impregnations with a smell of menthol and a bitter taste of raspberries (raspberry flavor); white with a yellowish shade of color with impregnations with a smell of menthol and a bitter taste of lemon (flavoring lemon); A light gray color with impregnations with the smell of menthol and bitter taste of black currant (flavor blackcurrant).

    Gramdin® with an anesthetic is a combined preparation for the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the throat and oral cavity.The composition of the drug includes: antimicrobial agent gramicidin C, local anesthetic lidocaine, anti-inflammatory emollients, menthol and eucalyptus oil and sweetening sweeteners.

    Gramicidin C has an antimicrobial effect against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms - pathogens of infectious diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx. The mechanism of its action is associated with an increase in the permeability of the membrane of the microbial cell, which violates its stability and causes death. With resorption increases salivation, facilitating the purification of the oropharynx from microorganisms and inflammatory exudate.

    Anesthetic lidocaine hydrochloride provides the drug local anesthetic effect on the inflamed mucous membrane of the mouth and throat. The analgesic effect of the drug manifests itself immediately at the moment of resorption and persists for 30-40 minutes after application.

    Menthol and Eucalyptus oil soften discomfort, reduce inflammation and facilitate ingestion of food in diseases of the oral cavity and throat.Menthol additionally enhances the analgesic effect of lidocaine hydrochloride.

    Mannitol and aspartame improve the taste of the drug.

    Gramdin® with an anesthetic can be used in patients with contraindications or restrictions in the intake of sugar and sugar-containing drugs.

    Indications:Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat, accompanied by severe pain syndrome: acute pharyngitis, tonsillitis, tonsillitis, periodontitis, gingivitis, stomatitis.
    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, the period of lactation.

    Carefully:During pregnancy.
    Pregnancy and lactation:Pregnant women should consult a doctor before using the drug. The use of the drug is possible if the potential benefit to the mother exceeds the possible risk to the fetus.
    For the duration of treatment, breastfeeding should be discontinued.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Gramdin® tablets with anesthetic are applied after meals, by resorption in the mouth, without chewing. Immediately after using the drug should refrain from eating food and drink for 1-2 hours.

    Dosage for children from 12 years of age and adults: 2 tablets (one after another for 20-30 minutes) 4 times a day.

    Dosage for children under 12 years: 1-2 tablets 4 times a day. The course of treatment: 5-6 days.

    If there is no therapeutic effect, it is recommended to consult a doctor within 6 days of taking the drug.
    Side effects:During the application of the drug, due to its anesthetic effect, a temporary loss of sensitivity of the tongue is possible.
    In some cases, allergic reactions to the components of the drug are possible.
    Overdose:

    Symptoms: taking doses that are higher than recommended can cause gastrointestinal disturbances due to changes in bacterial flora and superinfection, characteristic of overdose of other antibiotics: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

    Treatment: In case of an overdose accompanied by the appearance of the above symptoms, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor.

    Interaction:Strengthens the effects of other antimicrobial agents of local non-systemic action.
    Special instructions:

    Do not use Gramdin® with an anesthetic if there is an individual hypersensitivity to any component that is part of it.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf.and fur:The drug does not affect the performance of potentially hazardous activities requiring special attention and quick reactions (driving and other vehicles, working with moving mechanisms, dispatcher and operator work, etc.).

    Packaging:For 10 tablets in a contour mesh box made of polyvinylchloride film and aluminum foil printed lacquered.
