Description:

Oily liquid, which is under the pressure of a propellant in an aerosol container with a dosing valve. The preparation, when leaving the balloon, forms particles of liquid with a characteristic odor dispersed in the gaseous medium.

Pharmacodynamics:

Cameton is a combined preparation for topical application, the effect of which is determined by its constituent components.Has a local anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and moderate "distracting" effect.

Chlorobutanol with local application has a moderate "distracting", anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect.

Camphor has an irritating and partly antiseptic effect, increases blood flow at the site of application.

Levomenthol has a local irritating effect, accompanied by a feeling of cold. An irritating (distracting) effect helps to eliminate pain. It also has weak antiseptic properties.

Eucalyptus oil has a stimulating effect on the receptors of the mucous membranes, it also has a weak local anti-inflammatory and antiseptic activity.

The combination of these pharmacological properties provides a comprehensive pathogenetic therapy for inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

Pharmacokinetics:

Due to low systemic absorption, there is no data on the pharmacokinetics of the drug.

Indications:

In the complex therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the ENT organs (rhinitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis).

Contraindications:

Pregnancy and lactation:

Dosing and Administration:

To treat rhinitis, you must first clean the nose of mucus, then inject the sprayer to a depth of 0.5 cm. Spray the drug at the inspiration phase by pressing the base of the sprayer with the thumb and forefinger from top to bottom until it stops. For one application in adults and children over 15 years of age, 2-3 sprays are administered to each nostril, in children aged 5 to 12 years - 1 spraying, in children from 12 to 15 years - 1-2 sprays. The frequency of application is 3-4 times a day.The course of treatment is 7-10 days.

In the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the pharynx and larynx (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis), the spray nozzle is injected into the oral cavity. The drug should be used after eating, after rinsing the mouth with warm boiled water. Spray the drug in this case, regardless of the phase of inspiration and expiration. For one application in adults and children over 15 years of age, 2-4 sprays are performed to the right and left, in children aged 5 to 12 years - 1 spraying, in children from 12 to 15 years - 1-2 sprays. Side effects:

Allergic reactions in the form of skin rashes are possible. With the use of the drug, sensations of slight burning and tingling are possible.

Overdose:

Signs of acute intoxication when ingested: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain. The victim should immediately consult a doctor.

Measures to help with overdose: removing the drug from the stomach and intestines (gastric lavage, artificial vomiting, the use of salt laxatives, enema, the use of intestinal adsorbents - activated charcoal), symptomatic treatment.

Interaction:

Clinically significant interaction of the drug with drugs of other groups was not revealed.

Special instructions:

When spraying in the nasal cavity, do not tip your head and turn the bottle upside down. It is not recommended to use the same ballon several individuals to avoid the spread of infection. When spraying the drug, avoid contact with eyes.
