active ingredients: chlorobutanol hemihydrate (in terms of anhydrous substance) 0.1 g; racemic camphor 0.1 g; levomentol 0.1 g; eucalyptus of the leaf-shaped leaf oil 0.1 g;

Excipients: isopropyl myristag 9.6 g, tetrafluoroethane (chladone 134a) 20.0 g.

Description:

Transparent, colorless, oily liquid, under pressure in a cylinder with a dosing valve. The drug at the outlet of the container is sprayed in the form of an aerosol jet, which is the dispersed in a gaseous medium, liquid particles with a characteristic odor.

Pharmacodynamics:

Cameton is a combined preparation for topical application, the effect of which is determined by its constituent components. Has a local anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and moderate "distracting" effect.

Chlorobutanol with local application has a moderate "distracting", anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect.

Camphor has an irritating and partly antiseptic effect, increases blood flow at the site of application.

Levomenthol has a local irritating effect, accompanied by a feeling of cold. Annoying ("distracting") effect helps to eliminate pain. It also has weak antiseptic properties.

Eucalyptus oil has a stimulating effect on the receptors of the mucous membranes, has also local anti-inflammatory and antiseptic activity.

The combination of these pharmacological properties provides a comprehensive pathogenetic therapy for inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

Pharmacokinetics:

Due to low systemic absorption, local pharmacokinetic data are not available.

Indications:

In the complex therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the ENT organs (rhinitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, laryngotracheitis).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Children under 5 years.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Sufficient experience in the use of the drug during pregnancy and data on the penetration of components of the drug in breast milk is not. Due to low systemic absorption of the components of the drug, the use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is possible if the expected benefit for the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. Dosing and Administration:

In the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the pharynx and larynx (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis) The spray nozzle is injected into the oral cavity. The drug should be used after meals. Before applying the preparation, the mouth cavity should be rinsed with warm boiled water. Spray the drug in this case, regardless of the phase of inspiration and expiration. For one application in adults and children over 15 years of age, 2-4 sprays are performed to the right and left, in children aged 5 to 12 years - 1 spraying, in children from 12 to 15 years - 1-2 sprays. The frequency of application is 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 7-10 days.

Side effects:

Possible allergic reactions in the form of skin rashes, itching.

When using the drug, a burning sensation, dryness of the mucous membrane of the oropharynx, nose, edema at the site of contact are possible.

Overdose:

Signs of acute intoxication when ingested: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain. The victim should immediately consult a doctor.

Assistance with overdose: removal of the drug from the stomach and intestines (gastric lavage, artificial vomiting, the use of salt laxatives, enema, the use of intestinal adsorbents - activated charcoal), symptomatic treatment.

Interaction:

Clinically significant interaction of the drug with drugs of other groups was not revealed.

Special instructions:

Remove the protective cap from the sprayer before use. When using the balloon, keep it upright. After application on the spray gun, a protective cap should be put on to avoid contamination.

When spraying in the nasal cavity, do not throw your head and do not turn the cylinder.

It is not recommended to use the same ballon several individuals, in order to avoid the spread of infection. During spraying, avoid contact with the eyes.

Cylinder with the drug can not be disassembled, protect from falls and bumps. Do not spray near fire. Do not freeze. Keep away from heating system and direct sunlight.
