    Pharmacodynamics:

    Combined preparation of plant origin.

    Camphor

    It shows analgesic, local irritating, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory action. Reflexively improves the trophism of tissues and organs by excitation of nerve endings of the skin.

    Levomenthol

    When installing levomenthol causes irritation of the nerve endings, the expansion of the surface vessels of the skin and mucous membranes, which is accompanied by a feeling of coolness, anesthetic action and the termination of itching.

    Eucalyptus oil

    Distracting and antiseptic action.

    Turps

    Warming, expectorant effect.

    The duration of the drug is about 8 hours.

    It is used as part of complex therapy for inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.

    Contraindications:
    • Whooping cough.
    • Bronchial asthma.
    • False groats.
    • Propensity to bronchial and laryngeal spasm.
    • Individual intolerance.
    • Child age up to 2 years.

    Pregnancy and lactation:Recommendations for FDA - category is not defined. Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Rub the ointment 2-4 times / day with nasal congestion and runny nose - in the skin of the breast; with pain in the throat and cough - in the skin of the neck; when coughing - in the skin of the back. The course of treatment is about 5 days.

    The highest daily dose: 10-15 g.

    The highest single dose: 2-3 g.

    Side effects:

    Bronchospasm, laryngospasm, lacrimation, skin irritation at the site of application.

    Allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Increased side effects.

    Treatment. Removal of excess ointment with a paper or gauze cloth moistened with vegetable oil. With bronho-and laryngospasm, treatment is symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    Not noted.

    Special instructions:

    In case of accidental ingestion of the ointment on the mucous membranes and in the eyes, an abundant rinse with water is shown.

    It is not recommended to heat the preparation before use.

    If there is no effect for 5 days, the drug is stopped.
