    Composition:

    1 g of the preparation contains:

    active substances: ketoconazole 20 mg, pyrithione zinc 10 mg;

    Excipients: the basis of Velco shampoo SX 200 (ethylene glycol monostearate, ethylene glycol distearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, coconut fatty acid diethanolamide and coconut fatty acid monoethanolamide), propylene glycol, hypromellose, silicon dioxide colloid, imidourea, magnesium aluminosilicate, azorubin dye, hydrochloric acid concentrated, "Swiss Bouquet" flavor, purified water.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Ketoconazole is a synthetic derivative of imidazole dioxalane, has an antifungal effect against dermatophytes, such as Trichophyton spp., Epidermophyton spp., Microsporum spp. and yeast-like fungi, such as Candida spp. and Malassezia furfur (Pityrosporum ovale).

    Zinc pyrithione has an antiproliferative effect on epithelial cells and exhibits antifungal activity against Pityrosporum ovale and Pityrosporum orbiculare, causing excessive skin peeling.

    Keto Plus shampoo quickly reduces peeling and itching of the scalp, which are usually associated with dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis.

    Pharmacokinetics:Absorption of active substances through the skin with local application is negligible. Since even with prolonged use, the content of ketoconazole and zinc pyrithione in the blood is not determined, it can be concluded that the drug has no systemic effect.
    Indications:

    Treatment and prevention of skin and scalp lesions caused by yeast-like microorganisms Malassezia furfur (Pityrosporum ovale), such as pityriasis lichen, seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp and various types of dandruff.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Since with local application, the components of the drug are not absorbed, use of shampoo during pregnancy and lactation is not contraindicated.

    Dosing and Administration:

    External, on the affected skin and scalp, apply shampoo for 3-5 minutes, then rinse with water.

    A course of treatment with pityriasis: daily for 5-7 days, with seborrheic dermatitis - 2 times a week for 1 month.

    Prevention pityrious lichen: daily for 3-5 days, seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp - 1 time per week for 1 month.

    Side effects:

    Keto plus is usually well tolerated. As with other shampoos, local irritation and itching may occur. Hair can become greasy or dry. Usually, when using Keto shampoo plus such phenomena are rare.

    In some cases, mainly in patients with chemically damaged or gray hair, there was a discoloration of the hair.

    Overdose:

    When using Keto shampoo plus the development of an overdose is not expected, since the drug is intended for external use only.

    In case of accidental ingestion of special measures is not required. To prevent aspiration, do not induce vomiting or use gastric lavage.

    Special instructions:

    When using shampoo, avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with shampoo in the eyes, rinse them with water.

    To prevent the syndrome of "cancellation" with long-term local treatment with glucocorticosteroids (GCS), it is recommended to continue the local application of GCS in combination with Keto plus shampoo followed by a gradual cancellation of GCS within 2-3ned.

    In rare cases, increased hair loss was noted with the use of Keto plus shampoo.
