Pharmacodynamics:Combined antifungal drug.
Ketoconazole
The imidazole-dioxalane derivative. Active against dermatophytes (Epidermophyton spp., Microsporum spp., Trichophyton spp.), yeast and yeast-like fungi (Candida spp., Malassezia furfur / Pityrosporum ovale).
Zinc pyrithion
Has antiproliferative effect on epithelial cells, is active against Pityrosporum ovale and Pityrosporum orbiculare, causing excessive skin peeling.
Pharmacokinetics:It is applied externally in the form of shampoo, it has no systemic effect on the body.
Indications:It is used for the purpose of treatment and prevention of fungal skin lesions of the scalp, with itching and flaking of the skin for dandruff, seborrhoea and pityriasis.

Contraindications:Individual intolerance.
Carefully:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Pregnancy and lactation:Recommendations for FDA - Category B. It is used in pregnancy and lactation.
Dosing and Administration:Apply the shampoo to the scalp with massage movements, after 3-5 minutes, rinse.
With seborrhoea: 2 times a week for 1 month; for the purpose of prevention: 1 time per week for 1 month.
With pityriasis: daily for 5-7 days; for the purpose of prophylaxis: daily for 3-5 days.
Side effects:Itching, skin irritation, rarely - dryness or increased hairiness of hair. In persons with gray hair or after chemical treatment, hair color change is possible. Allergic reactions.
Overdose:Cases of overdose are not described.
Treatment is symptomatic.
Interaction:Not described.
Special instructions:When topical treatment with glucocorticoids is recommended to continue their joint use with shampoo followed by cancellation of glucocorticoid agents for 2-3 weeks.
