Composition:

To prepare 1000 ml of extract it is necessary:

Description:

    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Extract liquid from the seeds of horse chestnut ordinary as active substances contains triterpene saponins, the main component is escin.

    The drug has a pronounced angioprotective, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect.

    Pharmacological action of the drug is caused by a decrease in the concentration of lysosomal enzymes, as a result of which the decomposition of mucopolysaccharides in the capillary walls decreases, vascular permeability decreases, preventing the filtration of low molecular weight proteins, electrolytes and water into the intercellular space. In addition, the drug has moderate antioxidant, antihypoxic activity and diuretic properties.

    Indications:

    As a symptomatic agent in the complex treatment of varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency 3-4 classes on the clinical International Classification of chronic diseases of the veins of the lower extremities (CEAP), accompanied by pain, a sense of heaviness and a feeling of tension in the lower extremities, night cramps of the calf muscles, edema of the legs .
