Composition:

For preparation of tincture it is necessary:

Lily of the Herb Grinded -100 g.

Ethyl alcohol 70% (ethanol) - a sufficient amount to obtain 1 liter of tincture.
Description:

Transparent liquid of a greenish-brown color, weak peculiar odor.

Pharmacodynamics:

The main active ingredients of lily-of-the-valley tincture are glycosides (konvallyatoksin, konvalozid, konvalotoksol). Has cardiotonic action.

Indications:

Neuro-circulatory dystonia by hypotonic type, as part of complex therapy for chronic heart failure.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, cardiosclerosis, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, ventricular tachycardia, endocarditis, myocarditis, AV blockade II-III Art.

Carefully:In children; with liver disease, alcoholism, trauma or brain disease.
Pregnancy and lactation:

Use during pregnancy and lactation is possible if the expected benefit for the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby.

Dosing and Administration:

Inside, adults for 15-20 drops 2-3 times a day after meals.

Children from 1 to 12 drops (depending on age) 2-3 times a day after meals on the recommendation of a doctor.

Side effects:

Possible allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, arrhythmia, muscle weakness, headache.

Overdose:

With prolonged use of the drug in doses exceeding the recommended, may increase the side effects. Treatment is symptomatic.

In a maximum daily dose, the drug contains 1.8 g of absolute alcohol, which should be taken into account when it is necessary to drive and work with moving machinery.
