Balsamic liniment (according to Vishnevsky) - instructions for use, doses, side effects, contraindications

Bismuth tribromophenolate and bismuth oxide complex (xerobes) have astringent, adsorptive, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic effect. When applied externally, xeroform accelerates the regeneration of tissues.

Indications:Uninfected, long-term non-healing postoperative, post-traumatic wounds of skin and soft tissues.

Contraindications:Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug. Acute purulent diseases of the skin and soft tissues (abscessed furuncle, carbuncle, phlegmon, abscess, hydradenitis, lymphadenitis, suppurative atheroma, lipoma, paraproctitis).

Dosing and Administration:Outwardly. On the affected areas of the skin, a gauze cloth impregnated with liniment is applied.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions.

With prolonged use, skin irritation is possible.

Packaging:

By 25, 40 g in cans of orange glass; 30 g in aluminum tubes. Each jar or tube together with the instruction for medical use is placed in a pack of cardboard. It is allowed to place cans or tubes together with an equal number of instructions for medical use in group packaging.
